Project Date: 2003

In 2003, in addition to working with Capital Programs at UCLA on the partner facility of the California NanoSystems Institute there, the Urban Simulation Team was also asked by the University of California Santa Barbara to produce a 3D visualization of the other proposed facility located near the East Gate of the UCSB campus. The models were used to evaluate the design and impact of the facility in the broader context of the surroundings.

The California NanoSystems Institute was conceived to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to develop the information, biomedical and manufacturing technologies that will dominate science and economy in the 21st century.
