San Diego - Federal Courthouse

Project Date: 2004-2005

The first downtown San Diego project for the Urban Simulation Team came at the request of Michael Palladino of Richard Meier & Partners Architects Los Angeles office. The project was the major piece of a proposed expansion of the federal courthouse complex at the intersection of Broadway and Union Street. The expansion plan has been approved by the U.S. General Services Administration commissioner in Washington and was unveiled in April of 2005.

The team had previously worked with Michael Palladino on the Broad Art Center which has recently been completed at the University of California Los Angeles campus.
